Acutec Precision Aerospace is expanding to support long-term aerospace and defense production programs. These CNC Lathe roles are essential to maintaining high-volume output while holding tight, flight-critical tolerances on components used in commercial aircraft and military platforms.

This is stable, repeat production work — not short-term contract spikes or revolving-door hiring.

The Work You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

• Operate 2-axis CNC lathes in a high-volume production environment
• Run hundreds of parts per job, producing up to 40 parts per hour
• Load material blocks and bar-fed stock
• Touch off tools and manage offsets
• Follow live setup sheets and digital travelers updated in real time
• Perform in-process inspection to ensure parts meet print requirements
• Potentially run multiple machines depending on cycle times and experience

🔧 No programming required — this is an operator/setup-focused role.

  (Meadville: 60–80 machinists | Saegertown: ~15 machinists)

Pay Structure & Advancement

Pay is skill-based, transparent, and competitive:

• Machinist C: $18 – $22/hr
• Machinist B: $22 – $27/hr
• Machinist A: $25 – $30/hr
• Exceptional candidates: Paid above range as needed
• Night Shift Differential: 10%

👉 Strong performers may earn opportunities to move to 1st shift as openings become available.
