This role is critical to producing precision metallic components that meet strict dimensional requirements. You’ll work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure parts are manufactured efficiently, accurately, and safely.

The Work You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

• Set up and operate CNC and special-purpose machining equipment
• Machine metallic parts to blueprint specifications and tolerances
• Select and install tooling, fixtures, and workholding
• Edit CNC programs as required to maintain quality and efficiency
• Calculate and adjust speeds, feeds, coolant flow, and depth of cut
• Perform trial runs and first-article inspections
• Measure parts using micrometers, depth mics, height gauges, and gauge blocks
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot out-of-tolerance conditions
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve machining challenges
• Maintain a safe, organized work area and perform routine equipment maintenance

This is a hands-on machining role for someone who enjoys ownership of their work from setup through finished part.

Machines, Controls & Equipment

You’ll work with a variety of conventional and CNC machining equipment, including:

• Machines: CNC machining centers and special-purpose machines
• Controls: CNC controls (editing required)
• Inspection Tools: Micrometers, depth micrometers, height gauges, gauge blocks
• Operations: Milling, drilling, grinding, cutting, and related processes

What We’re Looking For

Required

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to edit CNC programs
• Strong blueprint reading skills (ID/OD, surfaces, basic shapes)
• Experience machining parts to specified tolerances
• Comfortable using precision measuring tools
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and work in physically demanding environments
• Willingness to work overtime as production requires

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience machining stainless steel and tool steel alloys
• Background working closely with engineering or production teams
