Pay: $65,000 – $75,000 per year + Bonus

We’re looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our Orangeburg, NY team — someone who enjoys hands-on machining, problem solving, and helping keep production equipment running at peak performance.
Position Overview
As a CNC Machinist at PDI, you’ll be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing parts, fixtures, and production machinery used throughout the facility. This is a 1st shift position with consistent hours and a clean, well-maintained shop environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble fixtures, components, and machine parts for packaging and related equipment
- Set up and operate CNC mills and CNC lathes using FeatureCAM
- Perform machining using manual mills, lathes, surface grinders, and sheet metal tools
- Repair and maintain production machinery and equipment
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Maintenance teams to troubleshoot and improve manufacturing processes
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in machining, fabrication, or machine assembly
- Proficiency in CNC setup and operation (mills, lathes) and manual machining
- Experience programming or editing using FeatureCAM or similar CAM software
- Strong blueprint reading, math, and measuring tool skills
- Basic welding, drilling, and tapping experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Education: Trade School Diploma or equivalent experience
