The Work You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Program, set up, and run CNC lathes — with a strong focus on hands-on machining
  • Take ownership of jobs from print to completed part (programming + setup + run)
  • Work directly at the machine using Fanuc controls
  • Develop and edit programs using Fusion 360 (modeling + CAM)
  • Select tooling, set offsets, and optimize cutting strategies
  • Run a mix of prototype and production work
  • Hold tight tolerances and ensure part quality
  • Perform first-article and in-process inspection
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and make real-time adjustments
  • Collaborate with engineering and leadership to improve processes and expand capabilities
