Overview
We’re hiring a strong CNC operator who wants to take the next step.
This role is ideal for someone with real machine shop experience who is ready to move beyond basic operation and grow into setup and programming.
You’ll start by running parts on CNC lathes and mills, while learning how to take jobs from print to completion on high-end equipment, including DMG Mori NLX turning centers.
The Work You’ll Be Doing
- Operate CNC lathes (primary focus) and mills in a production environment
- Load parts, monitor cycles, and maintain part quality
- Make offset adjustments and basic edits at the machine
- Read and interpret blueprints and tolerances
- Perform in-process inspection using standard gauges
- Assist with setups and tooling selection
- Learn setup and programming from experienced machinists

Controls:
- Fanuc
- DMG Mori Celos
Inspection Tools:
- Calipers, micrometers, gauges, and standard inspection equipment
Materials You’ll Work With
- Aluminum

What We’re Looking For
Required:
- 2–5+ years of CNC machine shop experience
- Experience operating CNC lathes or mills
- Ability to read blueprints and understand tolerances
- Comfortable making offsets and basic machine adjustments
Preferred:
- Exposure to setup work
- Interest in learning programming and process ownership
- Experience with Fanuc or similar controls
