Position Overview
Texas Hydraulics is seeking CNC Machinist I and II candidates to join their production team in Temple, Texas. This role is ideal for machinists who take pride in precision work, enjoy troubleshooting, and want to grow their skills on advanced CNC lathe equipment in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
You’ll work on industry-leading machines and have a clear path for advancement to Machinist III.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC Lathe machines to produce precision hydraulic components
- Monitor machining processes and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
- Troubleshoot programs and adjust G-code and M-code as needed
- Perform routine inspections to ensure parts meet print specifications
- Participate in LEAN manufacturing initiatives, Kaizen events, and 5S standards
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1–2+ years of CNC machining experience (lathe experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of tooling, feeds, speeds, and process limits
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions and safety documentation
- Solid math skills (fractions, decimals, whole numbers)
- Team-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Hands-on, active shop environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working around moving machinery and in a moderately loud environment
- Standing, bending, and moving throughout the shift
