CNC Lathe Machinist (Cincinnati, OH)

Blue Chip Tool Co. is hiring an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This is a steady, full-time, first-shift role in a family-owned, fully air-conditioned job shop. 🔧 Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate Mazak 2-axis CNC lathes using Mazatrol at the machine.
• Machine precision parts to exact customer specifications in a low-volume, high-precision job shop.
• Read and interpret blueprints, part drawings, and GD&T requirements.
• Verify setups, tolerances, and dimensions using precision inspection tools.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot as needed.

✅ Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience as a CNC lathe machinist (not just operator).
• Strong skills in Mazatrol programming directly at the machine.
• Hands-on experience with Mazak Quick Turn lathes or similar CNC turning equipment.
• Ability to hold tight tolerances and complete parts from start to finish.
• Skilled in blueprint reading, GD&T, and use of precision measurement tools.
• Comfortable in a prototype and production machining environment.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and focused on quality craftsmanship.

💵 Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $25 – $35/hour (based on experience).

🕒 Schedule

• First shift only
• Flexible start: 6:00 AM or 7:00 AM
• Monday – Friday, ~8 hours/day
• Occasional Saturday mornings and overtime available
