CNC Lathe Machinist

We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to join our team. This role is ideal for experienced machinists who can program, set up, and operate Mazak 2-axis lathes using Mazatrol. You’ll be part of a clean, fully air-conditioned shop with a family-owned culture that values craftsmanship and precision.

What You’ll Do

• Program, set up, and operate Mazak 2-axis CNC lathes using Mazatrol at the machine
  
  
• Machine precision parts to exact customer specifications
  
  
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and part drawings
  
  
• Verify setups, dimensions, and tolerances before and during machining
  
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  
  
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues as needed
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5+ years of experience as a CNC lathe machinist (not just operator)
  
  
• Proficiency in Mazatrol programming directly at the machine
  
  
• Strong background in setup and operation of CNC lathes
  
  
• Ability to hold tight tolerances and work from blueprints
  
  
• Comfortable in a low-volume, high-precision job shop environment
  
  
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
