You’ll join a close-knit company of approximately 75 employees across two U.S. facilities. The Greenville team supports work where careful setup, accurate inspection, disciplined documentation, and consistent machining practices directly affect component quality.

Experienced CNC machinists who have not previously worked with EDM are encouraged to apply. Burke is looking for people who take pride in their craft, communicate well, solve problems proactively, and want to keep developing their skills in aerospace manufacturing.

⚙️ What you’ll be doing

  • Set up and operate EDM and CNC machines using established programs, fixtures, and methods.
  • Make edits and adjustments needed to produce parts to work orders, blueprints, and sketches.
  • Apply a working knowledge of feeds, speeds, cutting tools, and machining practices.
  • Inspect dimensional features and confirm work meets quality requirements.
  • Complete production, time, count, and scrap documentation accurately.
  • Maintain machines, tooling, and the work area in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Help train and support other employees as needed.
  • Work with other teams to solve process or system-related problems.
  • Follow OSHA, health, safety, and environmental requirements.

✅ What we’re looking for

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least four years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Experience setting up and operating CNC machining equipment.
  • Working knowledge of feeds, speeds, cutting tools, blueprint requirements, and dimensional inspection.
  • Strong communication, organization, prioritization, and attention to detail.
  • A proactive, self-starting approach to problem solving.
  • Understanding of lean or continuous-improvement methods.
  • Ability to perform medium work, including occasionally exerting up to 50 pounds of force.

Preferred

  • Experience with EDM, Makino Fast Hole equipment, or aerospace manufacturing.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and JobBOSS or another manufacturing ERP.

💰 Pay, benefits & schedule

Pay: $25–$30 per hour
