As an Fabricator II you will: <ul> <li>Select dies, tools, punches for proper thickness of material</li> <li>Select proper CNC program for laser cutting.</li> <li>Form material according to drawings using various radius dies</li> <li>Install and align progressive compound, forming, blanking, piercing, coining, embossing, notching and combination punches and dies</li> <li>Monitor the condition of equipment and tooling</li> <li>Perform preventative maintenance procedures</li> <li>Perform first piece and in progress inspection to ensure that work meets all requirements</li> <li>Adjust stroke, feed equipment, knock out devices, work holders and safety devices </li> <li>Install and align punches and dies in proper tool station to perform required operations</li> <li>Monitor condition of tooling and inform supervisor or team lead when punches and dies need sharpening</li> <li>Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations</li> <li>Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results</li> <li>Contribute to team effort by training others in performance of fabrication tasks as needed</li> <li>Inspect all work prior to passing it on to the next operation</li> <li>Document actions by completing production and quality forms</li></ul> We are looking for someone who: <ul> <li>Is able to read and interpret moderate to advanced complex drawings and bills of material.</li> <li>Can safely operate fabrication machinery such as press brake, punch press, etc. </li> <li>Has experience using small hand and power tools</li> <li>Possesses basic computer skills</li></ul><ul> <li>Holds a High School diploma, GED or combination of work experience and skill development </li> <li>Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English</li> <li>Ideally has up to 3 or more years of experience working as a metal fabricator in a manufacturing environment</li></ul> The physical demands of the job are: <ul> <li>Work is classified as Medium - Heavy Physical Demand Level (PDL) by the US Dept of Labor's Dictionary of Occupational Titles</li> <li>Frequencies - Occasional (1-33%); Frequent (34-66%); Continuous (67-100%)</li> <li>Lifting Demands: <ul> <li>Lift up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis floor to waist with assistance</li> <li>Lift up to 40 pounds on a frequent basis floor to waist</li> <li>Carry up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis up to 25 feet</li> <li>Push/Pull up to 40 pounds on a frequent basis</li> <li>Push/Pull more than 40 pounds on an occasional basis with assistance</li> </ul> </li> <li>Postural Demands: <ul> <li>Standing - continuous</li> <li>Walking - continuous</li> <li>Bending/stooping - frequent</li> <li>Squatting/kneeling - frequent</li> <li>Lifting - frequent</li> </ul> </li> <li>Miscellaneous Demands: <ul> <li>Griping, manipulation, fingering -continuous</li> <li>Variable hand/power tool use - frequent</li> <li>Two-person tasks using assistive devices for lifting, pulling and pushing including engine stands hand trucks, pallet jacks, and hoists</li> </ul> </li></ul> What we offer you: Pay Range is typically between $24 - $28 per hour Please note the pay information shown above is a general guideline.
