Overview &amp; Responsibilities Primary Function: To perform all required layout, complex setups, manual and CNC machining. This includes subassembly, tool setting, deburring of parts, dimensional inspections, and final assembly of components according to required specifications in a timely manner. Sets-up CNC mills and lathes, by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, stock pushers; indicating vices; and tramming heads. 7. Recognizes, deploys and properly uses inserts, fixtures and tooling Loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position. 8. Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to international standards. 9. Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes. 10. Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs. 11. Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. 12. Evaluate experimental procedures and recommend change or modifications for efficiency and adaptability to setup and production. 13. Documents actions by completing production and quality logs. 14. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications. 15.
