Our team thrives on solving complex machining challenges with high-quality results.The Opportunity We’re hiring a skilled CNC Programmer to support and lead programming efforts for complex, tight-tolerance parts. You’ll be responsible for CAM programming, tooling, process development, and collaborating with machinists to ensure quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery. This role also supports scheduling, quoting, and continuous improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Program multi-axis CNC machines using CAM software (SolidCAM preferred)</li><li>Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues; optimize tooling and fixturing</li><li>Support job quoting and estimating; review drawings and specs</li><li>Ensure programs follow change management and AS9102 first article procedures</li><li>Coordinate first article inspections, time studies, and in-process checks</li><li>Assist with process documentation (Process Flows, PFMEA, Control Plans)</li><li>Manage material, tooling inventory, and rework documentation</li><li>Monitor scheduling software and adjust plans based on capacity and priorities</li><li>Support training of machinists and provide technical leadership on the shop floor</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>4+ years of CNC programming and machining experience (tight tolerance, short-run work)</li><li>Strong understanding of GD&amp;T, metrology tools, and CMM principles</li><li>Experience with aerospace, DOD, or similar regulated industries</li><li>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, and reverse engineer parts</li><li>Familiar with ERP systems (JobBoss a plus), Microsoft Office, and scheduling tools</li><li>Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder</li></ul>Preferred Skills<ul><li>Manufacturing Skills Standard Council (MSSC) certification</li><li>Experience leading or mentoring a small team</li><li>Comfortable with all common materials: aluminum, steel, plastics, etc.</li></ul>Physical &amp; Mental Requirements<ul><li>Must lift 50+ lbs and maneuver throughout the facility</li><li>Strong visual and tactile inspection skills</li><li>Ability to read, speak, and write in English</li><li>Competence in basic math, fractions, and blueprint measurements</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>401(k) with matching</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>
