Description Leedo Cabinetry is a leading supplier of cabinetry and accessories to large multifamily general contractors across the country. We are seeking ambitious and experienced machine operators to operate our manufacturing equipment. We are in search of a CNC Router operator on the second shift, located at our East Bernard facility. The CNC Router Operator is responsible for managing the CNC Router machine, helping to load and unload the machines while ensuring the material and parts meet the quality specifications, rejecting parts below the standard specifications, and completing preventive maintenance and housekeeping tasks. SUMMARY Sets up and operates all machinery in the machine shop including lathe, mill, drill press, saws, horizontal boring, to perform machining operations such as turning, milling, drilling, boring, cutting, broaching, and reaming metal work pieces. Is competent with 5S and maintains a safe work area. Completes all work in a safe manner with quality and productivity in mind by performing the following duties. Operates the bench grinder to sharpen tools.</li><li>Set up saws as required. Can identify raw materials properly and use appropriate measuring tools when required.</li><li>Saw material as required according to specifications using the most efficient means.</li><li>Operates manufacturing computer systems in relation to timecard and shop order data entry. CNC Operator - Plasma Table Summary A CNC (Computer Numerical Control) operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precise parts and components according to engineering blueprints and specifications. As the Machining Centre Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of machining equipment to produce parts that will stand up to the rugged and challenging terrain of the forestry industry. The successful candidate will have experience working with measurement tools, such as micrometers and calipers, to ensure machined parts are within the required dimensions and tolerances. When not operating machinery, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the machinery, ensuring all fluids are topped up and clean. Location: 95 Washburn Drive, Kitchener, ON Dedicated Night Shift: 8:00pm - 6:30am, Monday - Thursday Shift Premium: $3.50 per hour, in addition to the base rate!
