About the role: The CNC Brake Operator is responsible for operating and programming CNC brake machines to fabricate metal components according to specifications. Key Duties Responsibilities: • Set up and operate CNC Press Brakes including adjustment and/or replacement of tooling, guides, and fixtures. • Review work order and specifications to determine set up procedure, machine sequence and dimensions of finished workpiece. • Read and interpret provided prints and customer specifications. • Follow K-tecs quality/safety procedures. • Observe/listen to machine to detect malfunctions. • Records information in manufacturing software. • Operate forklift in a safe manner to move product - requires a valid driver license. • Bend metal from .5 lb up to 800 lbs. CNC Machine Operator The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for the operation of the CNC machine. He/she will report directly to the supervisor on all matters.
