CNC Mill Machinist - Evening Shift We are currently hiring for a full-time CNC Mill Machinist for our manufacturing facility in Calgary, Alberta. A CNC Machinist producesmachined parts by programming, setting up and operating a CNC machine, whilemaintaining quality and safety standards. As a CNC Mill Operator, your day-to-day responsibilitieswill include: <ul><li>Programming and operating CNC machines</li> <li>Selecting tooling and set up methods to produce parts in the most efficient manner</li> <li>Reviewing and interpreting drawings to ensure all specifications are met</li> <li>Modifying machine speed, tooling and cutting styles to ensure precision and accuracy of manufactured parts</li> <li>Ensuring quality on all parts and enforcing the Fidelity quality standard ISO &amp; AS9100</li> <li>Troubleshooting and diagnosing common CNC problems</li> <li>Use of various hand tools</li> <li>Performing minor maintenance tasks and tool calibrations as needed</li> <li>Following all health and safety regulations and controlled goods requirements</li></ul>Qualifications <ul><li>Minimum 5 years experience operating CNC machines</li> <li>Journeyman, machinist trade certificate or equivalent experience required</li> <li>Experience in Mastercam, Powermill, Solidworks or any other CAD/CAM software is considered an asset</li><li>Mandatory that this role take part in a criminal record check and controlled goods screening</li><li>Ability to work 3:30pm - 12:00am</li></ul> During the interview process, we will be looking forbehaviors that demonstrate: <ul><li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities</li> <li>Strong time-management skills to successfully complete tasks on a tight timeline</li> <li>Comfortability in a physically demanding role including standing for long periods of time, repetitive tasks/movements and potentially lifting heavy objects</li> <li>Positive attitude</li></ul>Compensation:<ul><li>Competitive wages based on experience and knowledge level</li><li>Employee benefits with medical, dental and life </li> <li>Opportunity for advancement</li> <li>Support for training and education</li> <li>A fun, friendly and casual work environment with company sponsored events</li><li>2 Paid Flex days per year</li><li>Free Uniforms provided with weekly laundry</li></ul>Why Fidelity Machine &amp; Mould Solutions?
