CNC Mill Machinist - Evening Shift

We are currently hiring for a full-time CNC Mill Machinist for our manufacturing facility in Calgary, Alberta. A CNC Machinist producesmachined parts by programming, setting up and operating a CNC machine, whilemaintaining quality and safety standards.

As a CNC Mill Operator, your day-to-day responsibilitieswill include:

• Programming and operating CNC machines
• Selecting tooling and set up methods to produce parts in the most efficient manner
• Reviewing and interpreting drawings to ensure all specifications are met
• Modifying machine speed, tooling and cutting styles to ensure precision and accuracy of manufactured parts
• Ensuring quality on all parts and enforcing the Fidelity quality standard ISO & AS9100
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing common CNC problems
• Use of various hand tools
• Performing minor maintenance tasks and tool calibrations as needed
• Following all health and safety regulations and controlled goods requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience operating CNC machines
• Journeyman, machinist trade certificate or equivalent experience required
• Experience in Mastercam, Powermill, Solidworks or any other CAD/CAM software is considered an asset
• Mandatory that this role take part in a criminal record check and controlled goods screening
• Ability to work 3:30pm - 12:00am
