The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating and maintaining CNC machine centers, including Okuma, DMG-Mori DMU65, Fanuc Robodrill's, and Haas. We are hiring for Swing Shift and Weekend Day Shift: Swing Shift: Monday through Thursday, 4 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. - 3-day weekend every week! Weekend shift - Friday through Sunday, 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. - enjoy 4 days off every week! The positions are onsite and not eligible for Visa sponsorship. Requirements JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Included, but not limited to: <ul><li>Load and unload parts for machining up to 40 pounds.</li><li>Perform basic equipment maintenance.</li><li>Read and interpret manufacturing prints.</li><li>Possess efficient math skills and basic understanding of geometric tolerance.</li><li>Check parts using basic measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, pins, indicators and bore gauges.</li><li>CNC setup and operation; tech tools, load programs and set/adjust work/tool offsets accordingly. Position Summary This is for third shift (typically 10:00 pm to 6:30 am) Candidate is responsible to set up and maintain production on CNC operated machines. Candidate is also responsible for on time delivery of manufactured components, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team environment. Candidates with the desired experience and/or skills will be provided additional training on specific machines for this career opportunity. Some travel will be expected during the first couple months of employment for training on specific machines. This is an intermediate level position. Position Responsibilities <ul> <li>Prepare machines for production: Set up/qualify/ and ensure part conformance on various 5 Axis CNC machines.</li> <li>Preview and understand machine programs, written set up information, and proper function and operation of machine being set up.</li> <li>Trouble shoot non-conformances derived from programming errors, tooling or part misloading, dull cutters, coolant flow, and operator errors.</li> <li>Training of operators to ensure operational abilities/skills and signing off on said training</li> <li>Ensuring quality standards are met by yourself and operators</li> <li>Communicate discrepancies and non-conformances to immediate lead</li> <li>Utilize measuring equipment in support of quality requirements</li> <li>Record and input in-process measurement data utilizing an ERP system or similar method.</li> <li>Review and interpret complex work instructions, processes, and blueprints, ask clarifying questions</li> <li>Working knowledge of Microsoft office applications: Word, Excel, and Outlook. </li> <li>Maintain machine and operator conformance of production parts.</li> <li>Production work as a member of our team will be required</li> <li>Travel for training and industry education as necessary to maintain skills for position</li></ul> Required Qualifications <ul> <li>High school diploma and two-year technical trade degree or completion of a machinist apprenticeship program.
