Position Title: Manual/CNC Machinist - Model Shop
Department: Model Shop
Location: Fenton, MO
Reports To: Manufacturing Engineering Manager
Classification: Hourly - Non-Exempt
Hours: Monday - Thursday 5:00am - 3:00pm
Position Summary: The primary function of this Machinist position is to work with the Manufacturing Engineering Group to make components for a wide range of unique equipment used in our manufacturing and assembly process.

Position Summary: The primary function of this Machinist position is to work with the Manufacturing Engineering Group to make components for a wide range of unique equipment used in our manufacturing and assembly process.
Essential Job Duties:
- Set-up and operate manual mills and lathes
- Operate CNC mills and lathes as needed
- Ability to make offsets, change and reset tools
- Inspect and ensure that all dimensions are within print specification
- Complete required documentation with accurate information
- Perform daily preventative machine maintenance
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area
Required Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Formal Machinist training with certificate and/or previous experience
Required Experience/Skills:
- 1-3 years previous experience with manual and CNC mills and lathes
- Excellent blue print reading skills
- Understanding of cutting tools, speeds and feeds, and machining techniques
- Ability to use precision measuring devices
- Understanding of G and M code
- Aptitude to learn pertinent software
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
