We’re seeking a Tool Crib Attendant to manage and maintain cutting tools, materials, and related inventory for our busy CNC machine shop in Santa Ana, CA. This is a hands-on role that ensures machinists have everything they need to run efficiently and produce high-quality parts on schedule.

If you enjoy keeping things organized, understand machining tools, and like working closely with production teams, this is an excellent opportunity to grow within a high-performing manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and maintain cutting tool and material stock inventory
• Prepare complete tool kits for CNC machinists — including cutting tools, holders, fixtures, setup sheets, and materials
• Identify and pull proper tools and materials from inventory for upcoming jobs
• Assemble tool holders and cutting tools per setup sheet instructions
• Order and replenish tools and consumables to ensure adequate stock levels
• Maintain company and government-owned tools, ensuring they are clean, calibrated, and ready for use
• Work collaboratively with Production Planning and Operations to support workflow and production priorities
• Maintain an organized and efficient tool crib area

What You Bring

• Experience working in a CNC machine shop or tooling environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of cutting tools, holders, and fixtures
• Ability to read setup sheets and follow detailed assembly instructions
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Experience managing inventory and tool control systems
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
