Technical Sales Representative

Join B&G Manufacturing Co., Inc., a third-generation, family-owned precision manufacturer, as a Technical Sales Representative. In this role, you’ll combine your technical knowledge with your sales expertise to drive revenue growth, develop new business, and strengthen long-term customer relationships.

What You’ll Do

• Generate revenue through proactive sales efforts and strategic account development.
• Maintain strong communication with existing customers — providing updates on product availability, pricing, and new programs.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities in partnership with the Director of Operations.
• Prepare and follow up on quotes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and profitability.
• Provide post-sale support related to delivery, quality, and service issues.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of materials, fastener specifications, and manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure quality, service, and delivery goals are met.

What We’re Looking For

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and technical understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and time management skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to build relationships and deliver excellent customer service.

Preferred:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or experience in a manufacturing or technical sales environment.
