Walter USA in Greer, South Carolina, is looking for a Reconditioning Operator in our state-of the art air-conditioned facility. Work hours are 3rd shift (11pm - 7:30 am) with up to 6 months training on 1st shift.

Walter USA in Greer, South Carolina, is looking for a Reconditioning Operator in our state-of the art air-conditioned facility. Work hours are 3rd shift (11pm - 7:30 am) with up to 6 months training on 1st shift.
What will I be doing?
- Program, set up, and operate CNC machining equipment.
- Optimize the grinding programs.
- Write programs for special tools and cutters.
- Determine working steps for machining (e.g., special tools and step drills cutters) of the workpieces and determine sequence and formulate it in the programming language of the machine.
- Prepare, complete, measure and assemble work equipment, clamping devices, and tools.
- Minimum of 2 years CNC Grinding, machining, or other CNC metal working experience
- Ability to work safely and maintain high quality standards in a world class manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of 5S and lean manufacturing preferred
