Job Duties and Responsibilities
Leadership and Supervision
- Lead and work alongside a team of up to 6 full-time employees on two shifts.
- Monitor progress to ensure timely completion of production schedules.
- Provide training and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Actively work with the team on the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC machines, including oxy-fuel, plasma, and drill.
- Ensure the machine is operating efficiently and safely.
- Recommend process improvement to the Operations Manager, once approved implement them to the production team to improve efficiency and quality.
- Inspect products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
- Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of daily weights and machine run times.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with WISHA/DOSH and other regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards.
- Promote a culture of safety within the team.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate production activities and resolve any issues.
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and present reports on production performance and improvement initiatives.
