Main Duties & Responsibilities
CNCProgrammer / MFG Engineer - Mastercam experience required

Position Summary:
Createand/or edit manufacturing processes and workflows. Determine the methods andsequence for manufacturing operations of machined parts and assemblies, andensure products and processes meet customer quality requirements. Createmachine programs for CNC machines to manufacture tight tolerance machinedparts.

Essential Functions:
1. Evaluates manufacturing processes by conducting process analysis, applyingknowledge of product design, fabrication, machine programming, assembly,tooling, and materials, and soliciting observations from operators/productiontechnicians.
2. Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching,designing, modifying and testing manufacturing methods and equipment. Prepareswork instructions to communicate manufacturing requirements to productionpersonnel.
3. Refines and enhances products and processes by applying continuous improvementand key lean manufacturing/production principles and techniques to critical orhigh-impact areas of production.
4. Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, spacerequirements, equipment layout and establishing and implementing "designfor manufacture and assembly "plans. Assures process control andreliability for broad areas of manufacturing that may include supplier base asappropriate.
5. Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods, testingfinished product and process capabilities and establishing standards to confirmand validate manufacturing process requirements.
6. Recommends and implements changes to manufacturing processes by analyzingproduction, labor standards, and material costs.
7. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educationalworkshops, reviewing publications, establishing industry networks, benchmarkingstate- of-the-art practices, and or participating in professionalassociations.
8. Complies with federal, state and local legal requirements (e.g. environmental,building code, safety. etc. )
9. Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparativeanalyses. Analyzes, substantiates and proposes changes in methods and materialswith cost and quality impact.
10. Shares specialized knowledge with others. Represents company on projects.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Workassignments may include cross-functional (e.g. quality, design, or testengineering) or project team responsibilities.

Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Three years of experience in a manufacturing environment ( Degree is a plus)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Mastercam Experience
5 Axis Programming Experience
Solidworks 2022 or Higher, Thorough knowledge of CAD/CAM Modeling
Knowledge of manufacturing and production engineering theories, principles, practices, techniques and concepts, and broad knowledge of other related engineering areas and general business operations. Ability to effectively assess and implement continuous improvement and lean manufacturing/production principles and techniques.
Ability to use standard business applications software and or specialized data analysis tools. Ability to work effectively with CAD/CAM systems or other computer-aided manufacturing systems. Ability to apply drafting and related machining systems to make recommendations for improved productivity. Ability to establish goals and objectives to complete projects. Ability to read, analyze and interpret engineering drawings, technical policies and recommend changes to procedures; effectively communicate and present information to team members, team leaders and top management. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL ABILITIES REQUIRED:
The employee frequently is required to use hands to operate a computer and talk or hear. The employee is required to sit, stand and walk as needed.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Also expected of the employee is regular attendance, the ability to work cooperatively and professionally with others and members of the public, and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once. The employee may be required to travel to vendors or customers including overnight trips.
