What You'll Do

Provide technical and process support and solution enabling the process of machining our Megacasted product - die casting, and its equipment to produce and deliver highest quality products on time. Own process qualification, characterization, control and improvement for the manufacturing and processes belong to complete aluminum die-casted product machining technology and its subsequent processes.

Key responsibilities
  • Responsible for setting up, developing and maintaining a unique Machining Bill of Process and its corresponding/subsequent processes for new and existing products and technologies including high safety, environmental and quality.
  • Be part of the installation and designing technology to set up for the new Volvo plant and its aluminium die casted product which will be delivered parts to Machining to finalize the product
  • Establish robust process control and monitoring system for machining components - Trim press + x-ray, CNC machining, deburring and laser passivation and its subsequent processes to ensure the quality of the high-performance structural product.
  • Take care of washing process after CNC machining. Responsible for up-to-date process parameter fingerprinting. Being on machine side, not in the office.
  • Responsible for maintaining and full control of running processes including technology water treatment, filters and cleaning activities.
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement effective countermeasures for process excursions.
  • Lead and manage process technicians supporting day-to-day coverage of manufacturing line processes, including rapid response on out-of-control processes to minimize cost and maximize productivity.
  • Lead in the training of operators, and team leaders and demonstrate effective leadership
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedure and quality safety assurance documents, including, but not limited to, work instruction, and health of the line monitor (such as pre-flight or process checklist). Lead the first responder team to process excursions.
  • Own and document problem-solving processes for non - conform materials and processes on each workstation in the Machining line
Location

You will be based at Volvo Cars' Kosice plant in Slovakia.

What You'll Bring
  • Mechanical/Electrical/CNC/Casting or equivalent and proficient years of experience in a real mechanical and machining manufacturing/industrial environment CNC/PLC/programming/maintenance/robots.
  • Essential skills include intelligent risk-taking, integrated thinking, strong leadership, effective problem-solving, and technical communication.
  • Ability to manage technicians from multiple disciplines and levels.
  • Experience in process engineering or manufacturing engineering associated with melting and furnace equipment
  • Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills Skilled with common workplace software and PLC programming including MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, Access, etc.
  • Knowledge of process development, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), & FMEA fundamentals are required.
  • Ability to handle various processes and equipment required.

Salary for this position starting from 2000 EUR, per month,gross.

The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to the monthly salary, there is also a 13th salary paid in an aliquot amount and a performance bonus depending on the company's financial results and individual performance.
