Manufacturing Engineer

TOMI ENGINEERING, Inc is an Aerospace Manufacturing Company in Santa Ana (92707) has an immediate opening for an experienced CNC Manufacturing Engineer.

Job Duties:

• Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements.
• Evaluate manufacturing processes and recommend changes to improve efficiency/quality
• Research, design, and implement manufacturing methods and equipment that meet production cost targets and maintain quality.
• Recommend and select new equipment and tools, providing manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material cost estimates for ROI analysis.
• Improve production processes by editing machining order, optimizing fixtures, and correcting CNC programming at the machine..
• Direct and oversee cost reduction and process improvement projects.
• Evaluate, set up, and train the team on new equipment

Qualifications Guidelines:

• A minimum of 5 years previous experience.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time.
• Capability to stretch, bend, and reach work areas.
• Occasional ability to reach, bend, stoop, lift, and move parts, tooling, or inspection equipment weighing 50 lbs or less.

Work Environment:

• The majority of work is performed in an office environment, subject to moderate changes in temperature.
