Do you want to be part of a dynamic team and grow in a rapidly expanding company? Eddyfi is looking for a machinist to join the machining team for the evening shift.
In this role, you will:
- Set up and adjust machine tools as required;
- Program and apply necessary compensations for parts manufacturing;
- Perform preliminary and in-process dimensional checks;
- Use all equipment and machine tools properly and safely;
- Report any anomalies or risky situations concerning equipment and tools for yourself or others;
- Ensure your work environment and equipment remain clean;
- Deliver a clean and defect-free finished product. As a vital team member, you will perform various manufacturing tasks on CNC and conventional equipment. You will leverage your experience, meticulousness, and dexterity to produce quality products.
- Has an A.S.P. diploma in CNC machining;
- Has at least 1 year of experience;
- Has experience in plastic machining (an asset);
- Is proficient in reading blueprints;
- Can interpret recommended cutting parameters and conditions from tooling manufacturers;
- Has knowledge of MAZATROL programming (an asset);
- Has the ability to analyze technical data;
- Is rigorous, autonomous, and versatile.
- A 36-hour workweek, Monday to Thursday, with a $3,50 per hour premium;
