Essential Job Functions
- Assist with the setup and operation of CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and routers.
- Follow detailed instructions to produce precision parts according to specifications.
- Support the production team in manufacturing precision parts according to detailed specifications.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning to ensure efficient operation.
- Inspect and measure finished products using precision measurement tools to ensure quality standards.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models.
- Collaborate with experienced machinists and engineers to learn best practices and industry standards.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve processes and products.
- Maintain a safe and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Complete assigned projects and tasks within specified timelines.
Job Classification Requirements
- Currently enrolled in high school/college with a focus on machining, engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of CNC machining and manufacturing processes (classroom or practical experience preferred).
