Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic high school/college student to join our team as a CNC Machining Intern. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in CNC machining, allowing the intern to gain valuable skills in a professional manufacturing environment.

Essential Job Functions
  • Assist with the setup and operation of CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and routers.
  • Follow detailed instructions to produce precision parts according to specifications.
  • Support the production team in manufacturing precision parts according to detailed specifications.
  • Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning to ensure efficient operation.
  • Inspect and measure finished products using precision measurement tools to ensure quality standards.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models.
  • Collaborate with experienced machinists and engineers to learn best practices and industry standards.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve processes and products.
  • Maintain a safe and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Complete assigned projects and tasks within specified timelines.

Job Classification Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in high school/college with a focus on machining, engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of CNC machining and manufacturing processes (classroom or practical experience preferred).
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work with precision and accuracy.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of measurement tools and techniques (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
