Are you a skilled CNC Machinist looking for an exciting opportunity in aerospace, defense, motorsports, and commercial machining? DSM Precision Manufacturing is seeking a Level I Machinist to join our growing team. This role involves CNC Mill & Lathe operation, fixturing, equipment setup, and precision machining in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 CNC & Conventional Machine Operation – Setup, operate, and inspect parts to meet precision tolerances.
🔹 Blueprint Reading & Precision Measurement – Ensure parts meet specifications using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools.
🔹 Fixturing & Equipment Setup – Assist in tooling, maintenance, and optimization for manufacturing efficiency.
🔹 Material Handling & Shop Maintenance – Maintain tools, operate forklifts/cranes, and uphold a clean, organized workspace.
🔹 Collaboration & Problem-Solving – Work with supervisors, engineers, and production teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.

What We’re Looking For:

✅ 1+ years of Mastercam or equivalent experience (preferred)
✅ 1+ years of solid modeling experience (SolidWorks preferred)
✅ Knowledge of Okuma CNC equipment (a plus!)
✅ Ability to work with both metric & inch systems
✅ Physically capable of lifting/moving up to 100 lbs

Education & Experience:

High School Diploma or GED required
Previous machining experience preferred
