- Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interprets a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form;
- Demonstrates a working understanding of shop math: practical application of fractions, percentages, ratio and proportion, practical algebra, geometric construction, and essentials of trigonometry;
- Ability to read and interpret prints;
- Ability to take measurements and verify conformance to the print;
