🛠 Position Overview

We’re seeking skilled Davenport Machinists to join our growing team. This hands-on, mechanical role involves working on Davenport Model-B 5-axis multi-spindle machines, setting up, troubleshooting, and producing precision components.

📋 Key Responsibilities

• ⚙️ Set up & troubleshoot Davenport multi-spindle machines per manufacturing specifications.
• 🛠 Install tooling, cams, gears & load raw material.
• ✂️ Sharpen tools, adjust surface speeds & ensure first article meets quality standards.
• 📏 Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers & other precision measuring tools.
• 🧴 Monitor & maintain cutting fluids and machine accessories.
• 🔄 Tear down machines & prepare for next setup.
• ♻️ Manage chip & coolant systems.

✅ Requirements

• 🕑 2+ years experience with Davenport manual CNC or equivalent multi-spindle machines.
• 🛠 Davenport Model-B setup & maintenance experience preferred.
• 🔧 Mechanically inclined & confident with tools/wrenches.
• 📐 Ability to make layouts, pick cams/gears, set surface speeds & troubleshoot.
• 🏭 Manual/conventional machining experience required.
