Sets up and operates a variety of machines to mill and/or turn metallic and nonmetallic workpieces to produce, maintain, or repair parts for customer requirements, applying knowledge of machine shop procedures, a variety of machine-tool setup and operating techniques, metal and plastic properties, and custom-machining methods. Troubleshoots set ups and run and modifies NC Code to improve job performance. To set up and run various machines using the correct speeds, feeds, and tools to assure the machine is operating at its peak performance as well as assuring that the completed work meets all customer requirements.

*******Minimum 3 years of working experience in the job requirements in this Job Description.******

Vocational education or apprenticeship preferred. High School Diploma preferred.

Exhibit strong understanding on NC Code and Fanuc, Mitsubishi or Siemens machine controls.
