CNC Lathe Setup/Operator

📍 Location: Lake Forest, CA | 🕒 Full-Time | 💵 Pay: $22-32/hr

🔧 About the Role

Join our manufacturing team as a CNC Lathe Machinst, where you'll set up and run Swiss lathes to produce precision parts in a clean, safe, and organized environment. If you’ve got a sharp eye, mechanical know-how, and a passion for quality — we want to hear from you.

🛠️ What You’ll Do

• Set up machines and submit first article inspections to QA
• Load raw materials, programs, and tooling per job specs
• Monitor operations and ensure parts meet print using precision inspection tools
• Replace worn tooling and maintain cutting/lubrication fluids
• Follow standard operating procedures for setup and teardown
• Keep your work area clean, safe, and organized
• Meet daily production, quality, and safety goals

✅ What You Bring

• 6+ months of CNC Lathe experience (preferred)
• Strong troubleshooting, math, and communication skills
• Comfort using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and stay focused on task
• A team-player attitude and pride in your work

• Consistently produce high-quality, conforming parts
• Machines are well maintained and ready to run
• Fluids topped off and tooling replaced as needed
• Work area meets 5S and safety standards
• Jobs are completed efficiently and prepared for next setup

📚 Bonus if You Have

• Previous experience in high-mix/low-volume or production machining
• Formal CNC or machining training/certification
