CNC Swiss Machinist- Sign on Bonus

Summary/Objective:

The CNC Swiss Machinist operates machines to fabricate finished parts to specifications while holding tolerances up to +/- .0002. The Machinist loads parts in the machine, cycle's machine, and detects malfunctions in machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools. The position communicates with co-workers regarding productions runs, and maintains a safe, organized, and clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Uphold the company values, vision, and mission and quality policy.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• CNC Programming: Create and modify CNC programs based on engineering drawings and models.
• Machine Setup: Set up and prepare CNC machines, ensuring proper alignment, tooling installation, and workpiece fixation.
• Quality Control: Perform in-process inspections and use precision measuring instruments to verify the quality of machined components.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot machining issues, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal machine performance and part quality.
• Safety and Maintenance: Adhere to safety protocols and perform routine machine maintenance to ensure equipment remains in peak operating condition.
• Process Optimization: Continuously improve machining processes to enhance productivity, reduce cycle times, and minimize scrap.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist
• Precision Machining: Demonstrated expertise in machining complex parts with tight tolerance.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve machining issues effectively.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to qualify control and adherence to precise specifications.
• Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide clear updates on machining projects.

Skills Required:

• Comprehension of complex engineering drawings.
• Ability to hold tolerances up to +/- .0002 .
• Blueprint, GD&T, measuring equipment
• Basic Communication
• Basic shop math

This is a Full-Time hourly position required to work Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends.
