We are currently seeking a studen intern for our Milford, NH facility in the CNC department. This rewarding internship will have a focus on machining and learning manufacturing processes. You will gain real world experience and knowledge related to various metal and plastic machining processes and the use of common measuring tools and measurement techniques.

What will you do?
- Load raw materials and unload completed parts
- Operate multiple machines simultaneously
- Perform inspection of own parts and co-worker's work
- Use measurement tools i.e. snap gage, digital calipers, micrometers, optical comparator and other measuring instruments
- Be able to run select machines in department
- Utilize QMS, MAX & SPC data bases as needed
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment including top-off lubricants
- Cleaning responsibilities including equipment, chip removal, and work area
- Follow established procedures as well as quality and safety standards
- Maintain safe work environment
- Work under supervision
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
- Currently enrolled in a high school or vocational program
- Basic understanding of machining practices
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Motivated and shows willingness to learn
- Team player who works in cooperation with others
- Demonstrates a strong mechanical aptitude
