CNC Specialist - Second Shift

2nd Shift Monday - Friday 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Starting pay is $18.00 + 10% 2nd shift differential

CNC Specialists:

• Ensure all Specialty CNC allograft tissue is accurately processed, measured, labeled, packaged, and documented in a timely manner.
• Accurately measure, label and package tissue grafts.
• Document all processing activities completely and accurately.
• In conjunction with Quality Control, responsible for operating and ensuring processing equipment is in good working order. Equipment includes, but is not limited to, CNC vertical milling machines, CNC 2-axis lathes, and vacuum sealers.
• Accurately monitor time-sensitive processes regarding allograft tissue manufacturing.
• Complete assigned tasks in the CNC processing area in a timely manner.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, training and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Requires heavy lifting, moderate to continuous levels of standing and is physically demanding.
• Some areas of Manufacturing may require the ability to work around high magnetic circuits or magnetic fields.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, processing anatomy and sterile techniques is preferred.
• Must be able to work within a team setting and possess the ability to receive and follow directions.
• Must be able to report numbers accurately and monitor error control.
• Requires good eye-hand coordination skills.
• Must be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.

Desired Qualifications:

• Associates degree in related field preferred.
• Certified Tissue Bank Specialist (CTBS) preferred.
• Prior CNC experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a tissue bank, sterile medical environment, or manufacturing environment preferred.
