CNC Setup Machinist

Looking to grow your CNC career in a stable, well-equipped shop? We’re hiring CNC Setup Machinists to work on high-quality horizontal and vertical machining centers. If you’ve got solid setup skills, we want to talk.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Setting up CNC machines (Mazak horizontals and Hyundai with Fanuc controls)
• Working from setup sheets, blueprints, and G-code
• Adjusting tools, setting work offsets, and ensuring jobs run smoothly
• Supporting short- and mid-run production work

What You’ll Be Working On:

• Mazak horizontals (Mazatrol controls)
• Hyundai horizontals with Fanuc controls
• Occasional vertical machining – horizontal experience preferred, but strong vertical-only candidates will be trained

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience setting up multi-axis mills
• Comfortable working with Mazatrol and/or Fanuc
• Can follow part specs and make quality parts with minimal supervision
• Programming experience is a plus but not required

Schedule & Pay:

• Day shift: 5:00 AM or 6:00 AM start
• Night shift available (5:00 PM or 6:00 PM start)
• Pay is negotiable based on experience
• 50–55 hours/week during peak seasons (spring/fall)
