Shifts:

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

Position Overview

We are hiring a CNC Setup/Operator to join our growing team. In this role, you will set up and operate multi-axis CNC lathes to produce precision components that meet strict quality and safety standards. You’ll work closely with a skilled team of machinists and engineers in a clean, organized, and fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multi-axis CNC lathes to produce high-precision metal parts.
• Load, secure, and run part programs according to setup sheets and work instructions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and tooling instructions.
• Verify part dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and gauges (±0.001" tolerance).
• Adjust machine controls or tool offsets as needed to maintain quality.
• Perform pressure testing and inspections per drawings and quality standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance, including coolant checks, cleaning, and TPM duties.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and AAR M-1003 standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC lathe operation and setup experience.
• Working knowledge of Fanuc and Okuma OSP controls.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and measuring instruments.
• Experience machining within ±0.001” tolerances.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions.
• Safety-conscious and reliable team player.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience with multi-axis CNC lathes (Mazak, Okuma, DMG Mori, etc.).
• Basic understanding of CNC programming adjustments and tooling changes.
• Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands for fine manipulation.
• Ability to lift 10–20 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally (with assistance).
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with machinery noise and temperature variations.
