CNC Programmers/Operators

Responsibilities:

• Create & execute CNC programs using CAM software for multiple machines within shop based on information supplied via drawing, and verbal instructions.
• In conjunction with the Project managers and Shop Foreman assist with tooling, jig and fixture design.
• Calibrate tooling as needed for jobs prior to programming the job.
• Perform regular machine maintenance
• Initiate design changes as required.
• Assist in equipment problem resolution and repair.
• Demonstrate leadership in safety initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must have prior knowledge of CAM software, G-Code and CNC machine operation.
• Experience reading and understanding blueprints and technical drawings.

Skills:

• Experience in programming using CAM software (Alphacam preferred)
• Strong communication skills, especially between shop foreman and machinists.
• Proven ability to self-manage and quickly identify and troubleshoot problems.
• Strong attention to detail.
