The Work You’ll Be Doing

This is a hands-on programming role in a high-mix job shop — ideal for someone who enjoys variety and ownership.

In this role, you will:

• Take full ownership of part development from print to proven part using Mastercam
• Program multi-axis CNC machines including 5-Axis mills and mill-turns
• Develop tooling strategies and design fixtures as needed
• Collaborate directly with machinists on the shop floor to prove out programs
• Troubleshoot and optimize programs, tooling, and workflows
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across processes and setups

No rigid silos here — programmers are involved, visible, and impactful.

Machines, Controls & Software

You’ll work with modern CNC equipment including:

• Machines: DMG Mori, Mazak, Doosan, Haas, Matsuura (mills & mill-turns)
• CAM Software: Mastercam
• Inspection: Standard precision inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, etc.)

• Stainless Steel
• Aluminum
• Inconel
• Other high-performance alloys

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• Strong CNC programming experience in a job shop environment
• Proficiency programming with Mastercam
• Experience with 3-axis to 5-axis milling and/or mill-turn
• Ability to read prints and plan complete machining strategies
• Comfortable working hands-on with machinists and setups
• Problem-solver mindset with attention to detail and quality

Preferred (Not Required):

• Experience with DMG Mori, Mazak, Doosan, Haas, or Matsuura machines
• Background supporting aerospace, medical, defense, or energy parts
• Fixture design experience
