What would you do as a CNC Programmer
As a Full-Time CNC Programmer at WALCO Tool & Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our manufacturing processes. You'll analyze engineering detail drawings, focusing on standardization, materials, heat treatment, and design elements, ensuring high-quality output. By specifying definite patterns on program sheets, you will create clear and concise programming instructions.
Your expertise will enable you to develop essential documentation and drawings, streamlining the programming of jobs based on blueprint specifications and routing sheets. This position allows you to utilize your technical skills in a collaborative, customer-focused environment, driving the success of our projects while upholding the core values of integrity and professionalism.
Requirements for this CNC Programmer job
To excel as a Full-Time CNC Programmer at WALCO Tool & Engineering, candidates should possess at least 10 years of CNC programming experience alongside a strong attention to detail. Proficiency in CAD and 3D modeling applications is essential, as is experience with Surfcam, MasterCam, and Veri-cut. Advanced blueprint reading skills are critical, complemented by a thorough understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and engineering documentation. Successful candidates will exhibit excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently. Familiarity with Fanuc controls is beneficial, while knowledge of G&M codes and previous machining experience will further enhance your effectiveness in this role.
