What You'll Do:
- Program parts for CNC machines by reading and interpreting approved fabrication drawings.
- Analyze drawings and sketches to determine machining methods, materials, and setups.
- Translate 2D or 3D drawings into machine-readable programs for CNC routers, including material requirements.
- Support daily production to ensure client needs are met.
- Develop, implement, and optimize CNC programs for new materials.
- Program nesting configurations to optimize material use.
- Create prototypes, samples, and templates.
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in AutoCAD/CNC programming and setup, preferably in a woodwork/millwork shop.
- Cabinetmaking experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of Biesse software is an asset.
- Proficiency in MasterCAM and MS Office.
- Comfortable using both basic and advanced measuring equipment.
