CNC Programmer

PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTION CNC PROGRAMMER

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to design, create, and modify CNC programs for a variety of metal processing equipment. The ideal candidate will have a background in CNC programming, an eye for detail, and be a team player. You will be working with a diverse range of machinery, including Plate Laser, Tube Laser, Plate Processing Machine, Plasma, Angle Machine, Drill Line, and Robotic Assembler.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES CNC PROGRAMMER

• Responsible for drawing plates, tube, beams using Autocad Mechanical matching customer provided drawings.
• Nest parts using our Pronest, ARTUBE, Raptor software
• Work with Project Management, procurement and staff

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES CNC PROGRAMMER

Education

High School education or equivalent is preferred

Experience

1 2 years' experience in CNC Programming

Other Qualifications and Requirements

Prior milling, plasma and various types of plate machines

Pronest Software or other nesting software

AutoCad Software

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Sitting 90%
• Walking and standing 10%
• Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls
• Ability to view computer monitor
• Frequent alpha/numeric keyboarding
