CNC Programmer

SUMMARY:  This CNC Programmer position is responsible for programming multi-axis CNC mill-turn lathes and CNC mills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Develop and maintain new CNC programs.
• Optimize current CNC programs using the latest cutting tools and techniques.
• Maintain program library.
• Select cutting tools, work holding tools and fixtures for new parts.
• Create standardized, detailed tool sheets.
• Provide support and resolve technical and program issues.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 5+ years’ experience programming multi-axis mill-turn lathes.
• Must be able to read and interpret drawings and models with proficiency with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be very detail oriented, organized, have good communication skills and be a team player.
• Must be able to work quickly and accurately with little supervision.
• Must be hands on and willing to work on the shop floor proving out programs and troubleshooting issues on the machines.

Salary starting at $85,000 per year
