Base Salary: $75,000 /Annually ( Beginning base pay shown) . The final pay for this position will vary based on geographic location and candidate experience relative to what the company reasonably anticipates for this position.
Training: 8 am - 5 pm (2 weeks) // After training: 9:30 am to 6 pm shift, but will move to 2:00 pm to 10:00pm subject to business needs Q1.

Position Summary:
The CNC Production Supervisor is based at our onsite Mansfield, TX facility. They technical and operational leader of CNC machines who organizes, operates, and directs the CNC Production personnel and production work. The individual in this position ensures technical and process compliance to Straumann product quality requirements while focusing on leading the group towards maximum productivity, efficiency, and safe work practices. This is a hands-on working supervisory position.

Essential Functions and Duties:
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
  • Oversees and directs our CNC operations, ensures technical and process compliance, manages quality and production KPIs, and performs supervisory tasks.
  • Ensures OEE of machining centers is within operational parameters.
  • Responsible for the quality, production output, and scheduling of CNC machines.
  • Performs the jobs of machinist or visual inspector as necessary.
  • Conducts and oversees training for machinists and operators, introduces new employees to policies, and provides mentorship for CNC operations.
  • Coordinates with managers to resolve inter-line challenges, recommends improvements to processes, and ensures alignment with organizational goals.
  • Works with Process Engineering to implement new processes via LEAN principles and 5S. Familiar with lean manufacturing concepts and use daily in production.
  • Collaborates with departments managers to resolves operations challenges, recommends improvements to processes, and ensures alignment with organizational goals.
  • Acts as the technical and operational leader; motivates and guides employees to improve productivity, product quality, and efficiency.
  • Extensive knowledge of machining expertise, familiarity with CNC programming, ensures quality compliance, and takes corrective action as necessary.
  • Conducts and supports hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions; manages production schedules and ensures all records are accurate and up to date.
Non-essential Functions and Duties:
  • Supports lean manufacturing activities and the installation and validation of new equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned by a manager
Management Responsibilities:
Supervises operators, machinists, leads, manages attendance, performance reviews, and employee coordination.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years s upervisory or group leader experience
  • 5+ years of production manufacturing experience in a regulated environment
  • 5+ years of machining experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Regulated industry or medical device experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience with delegation of tasks
  • Strong communication practices and collaboration with other departments
  • Excellent leadership, planning, and motivational capabilities
