The CNC Production Operator operates all CNC/manual machining and painting equipment to produce finished goods. This position is responsible for adhering to established production processes to produce quality work that meets customer specifications and for meeting individual production goals. This position is for an 8-hour shift. The starting pay is $23.97 per hour (plus $1.00 per hour shift premium if working on 2nd or 3rd shift). The top out is $28.64 per hour. Employees are generally topped out within 1 year. Applicant must include complete work history or attach resume to be considered for position.
Essential functions:
• Responsible for general knowledge of any / all job-related machinery, equipment, and work instructions.
• Set up and operate production equipment according to established specifications, adjusting CNC programming as needed
• Calibration and use of measurement equipment
• Utilize production equipment to produce finished goods in accordance with production goals
• Perform hourly quality checks to ensure quality of finished product in accordance with established quality processes and guidelines
• Utilize forklift to move materials and finished goods as needed in the production process
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhere to all safety procedures
Position qualifications (Competency Statement(s)):
• Mechanical skills, ability to read micrometer, blueprints and various calipers
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to work all jobs within the department
Experience:
• 0-1 year
• Manufacturing, CNC and blueprint reading experience preferred
