CNC Operator (Sawjet or Router)

Description

It's beneficial to have common knowledge of computers and various hand tools, but we will provide all necessary training for you to become a successful operator. You will also learn how to maintain the router and/or saw and perform small repairs.

This job requires 100% standing and moving while at work. You'll also be trained to operate forklift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Safely load and unload material with the assistance of an airlifting device.
• Perform daily machine calibration and blade dressing.
• Follow all safety protocols.
• Ensure processed pieces meet quality expectations.
• Communicate quality issues with Management.
• Perform required routine maintenance on assigned machine.

Pay commensurate with experience.

Requirements

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen (subject to random drug screens after employment begins), physical, audiogram and background check.
• Direct industry experience is beneficial. Other construction related experience and vocational training is a plus.
• Basic computer knowledge and experience with hand tools preferred.
• Ability to interact with customers and co-workers in a friendly and professional manner, and work as a team.
• Work extended hours as needed.

Salary Description

Hourly - $18 and upward
