We are machine shop job shop that specializes in graphite machining. We are looking for a CNC programmer/ operator or just an qualified experienced operator. We are looking for someone with experience with vertical cnc mills and cnc lathes, y axis lathe experience is a plus. We are looking for someone that can confidently and quickly set the machine up on there own. We are a job shop so majority of our parts are a limited run 1-10pc is average so we do not have fixtures for most parts, so being able to figure out your own set ups is necessary. Since we are a job shop we work with a wide range of industry's oil and gas, aerospace, nuclear, university's and research and development. No two days are the same, its not uncommon to work on 5 or more different jobs a day. We work with tolerances down to +/-.0002, and being able to interpret GD&T is a must. Trouble shooting, editing programs, making fixtures, making soft jaws,( if you are a programmer developing new programs, making CAD models, designing fixtures) will all be things you will be doing daily. For programming we currently have Solidworks 2024 and VISI Cam 2024 we keep all our programs up to date so we always have the latest software. We expect that you are proficient in using all analog measuring instruments (caliper, micromeres, Hight masters, indicators) and comparators. We have Keyence measuring instruments the im7000 and xm2000 for measuring all GD&T callouts and other measurements not possible with standard equipment. We have 2 Brother s700 a Haas vf4 and a Mitsubishi dm-800g all 3 axis and all 2016 or newer . We have add a New Mazak y axis live tooling lathe so Mazatrol and lathe experience is a huge plus. We are a small family own shop that's been in business for 45 years, majority of our employees have been here for 10 or more years. We pride our self's on taking care of and retaining our employees.

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Confidently and quickly set the machine up on their own.
  • We are a job shop so the majority of our parts are a limited run of 1-1000pc. The ability to develop your own fixturing, jaws, and setups is a huge advantage.
  • Write and develop programs, make small parts Soildworks 
  • Experience setting up and programming Co-Bots 
  • Experience with Mazatrol Programming 
  • Programing Experience with 3 axis mills, live tooling lathes
