Full Time
41-45 / hour
Based out of Vancouver Branch located in Surrey, British Columbia. We are looking for a positive, energetic, and driven person to join our Fabrication Shop as a CNC Operator. Working as part of a strong collaborative team in the Facades industry, the CNC Operator will set up and run various jobs producing accurate parts for our Assembly Lines.

A Day in the Life
    • Operate CNC machine with Safety and Productivity in mind.
    • Participate in continuous improvements specific to operations, programs, and processes while maximizing productivity in a team environment.
    • Work with and train Junior operators and/or apprentices.
    • Log and communicate daily production numbers and consumptions.
    • Ensure productivity and on-time completion of work orders.
    • Modification of DXF files based on additional specifications including bend allowance treatment.
    • Maintain CNC tool inventory and communicate with Production Controller.
    • Maintain CNC machines and communicate with the Maintenance Manager and Production Controller.
    • Troubleshoot encountered programming/CNC problems as they arise.
    • Measure parts ensuring QC/QA Program satisfaction.
    • Share in best practices and continued improvements in a team environment.

What We Are Seeking
    • Journeyman CNC machinist an asset.
    • 3+ years of machining/CNC operation with a 5-Axis machine.
    • Fanuc Control experience.
    • Knowledge of 3D cutting in Mastercam and Program experience.
    • Proficient at unit conversions between imperial and metric.
    • Strong communication and people skills.
    • Ability to adapt in a face paced environment.
    • Attention to detail, precision, and accuracy.
    • Elumatic and/or Onsrud experience an asset.
    • Architectural metal layout considered an asset.
    • Knowledge of 3D cutting, and Mastercam Program experience an asset.
    • Basic knowledge in MS Suite an PDF programs an asset.
    • Architectural product knowledge an asset.


$30 - $45 an hour
