About the Role

Systematic Manufacturing is hiring for a day shift CNC milling position in Madison Heights, Michigan. This role focuses on running production parts on vertical machining centers while maintaining quality, organization, and consistent output.

This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in accurate work, stays organized, and helps keep production on schedule in a clean, climate-controlled shop.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and operate CNC milling machines according to setup sheets and job instructions
• Run production parts on vertical machining centers
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools
• Monitor tool wear and make basic offset adjustments as needed
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-kept machines and work areas
• Accurately record part counts and inspection results
• Communicate quality issues or machine concerns to the lead machinist or setup technician

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of CNC mill operating experience
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, GD&T basics, and part tolerances
• Familiarity with common inspection tools and basic CNC offsets
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and quality-focused work habits
• Experience with Fanuc or Haas controls is a plus

Schedule & Pay

• Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Hours: 40–50 hours per week
• Pay: From $22.00 per hour, based on experience
• Overtime available as needed
