This onsite role, based in Kansas City, KS, offers the opportunity to work on advanced CNC machinery, tackling challenging repairs and ensuring seamless operations in a collaborative and progressive workplace.

As a CNC Technician, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and operational issues with CNC mills and lathes. Your expertise in troubleshooting Siemens controllers, interpreting G-code, and working on honing machines will be instrumental in maintaining peak machine performance. We value hands-on experience with tools such as volt meters and oscilloscopes, as well as knowledge of 3-axis and 5-axis Cincinnati profilers and mills, spindles, ball screws, and linear scales. The ability to read wiring diagrams and procedure manuals is essential, and familiarity with servos, motion controls, and PLCs is a bonus.

Requirements

This position requires someone who is self-driven and thrives in a dynamic setting. Your responsibilities will include conducting preventive maintenance aligned with ISO standards, analyzing error codes, troubleshooting, and managing repairs with precision. You'll be expected to order replacement parts, recommend equipment upgrades, and coordinate with external technical experts when necessary.
