CNC Machinst - 1st/2nd Shift

CNC Setup & Operator – Mill/Lathe (2nd Shift)
Location: Covina, CA
Pay: $26.00 – $32.00/hour + $2.00/hour 2nd Shift Differential
Schedule: 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM, Monday – Thursday (4x10s)

Hydro Fitting Manufacturing, a Novaria Group company, is an established aerospace manufacturer based in Covina, California. We are growing rapidly and looking to hire experienced CNC Setup & Operators to join our team. If you have 5+ years of CNC machining experience and are skilled in both mill and lathe setup and operation, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Setup and operate Haas CNC Lathes with twin spindles and live tooling
• Run 5-axis Brother Mill Turn machines
• Operate Sugami Swiss Lathes
• Read and interpret aerospace blueprints and part specs (AS, MS, NAS, NSA)
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, comparators, and gauges
• Edit G-code/M-code and optimize speeds and feeds
• Run multiple machines simultaneously (minimum 2)
• Maintain high standards of quality and safety

Preferred Experience:

• 5–10 years of CNC machining experience (mill & lathe)
• Proficiency with Haas, Brother Speedio, and Sugami
• Aerospace machining background with a focus on threaded parts
• Experience with materials including steel, stainless, titanium, aluminum, brass, copper
• Solid understanding of machined surface finishes

Shift & Compensation:

• 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM (Monday–Thursday)
• Pay Range: $26.00 – $32.00/hour + $2.00/hour shift differential
• Plenty of overtime available
